I'm relatively new to eBaying so this is the first time it has gone wrong for me...
- I bought an item that was not as described (listed as new undamaged etc but actually has part missing making it unusable)
- (private?) seller says it was listed in good-faith and offers to refund what I paid if I return it
Question:
should I ask them to also refund the postage (about 1/3 the cost of the item) that I pay sending it back?
I couldn't find anything making it clear what is supposed to happen.
Ideas on etiquette/rights much appreciated, thanks!
