how long would you wait before you started to worry?
Basically, I bought a saddle on Ebay for a lot of money earlier this week. Listing said first class post. I paid for it immediately. Then got a message from seller saying they would post "within a couple of days" First bad feeling.
I've sold a couple of saddles on Ebay for over £600 and always posted next day, with guaranteed, insured next day delivery and have always let buyer know tracking number and when to expect the saddle.
So I asked seller after a couple of days to confirm that saddle had been posted and asked for tracking number. Got reply saying it hadn't been posted but would be posted today. Just got another message saying it hadn't been posted today, but would be posted on Monday. I am now getting very jittery as this saddle has cost a lot of money. How long should I leave it bearing in mind Christmas holiday. Luckily I have paid by credit card by Paypal, so should be able to get money back.
