eBay seller to avoid

I don't know anything about whether you'll be able to get your money back, but just reading the other thread is it possible that it's marked wrongly, and so is actually a 400g or something? Does the weight of it feel like a 200g?

I think it's worth contacting Weatherbeeta directly. Sorry you're having this trouble. It's annoying and stressful when a product isn't what you hope or is faulty.

The concept of 'breathable' rugs is flawed. Even if the outer, waterproof, fabric is breathable, it only works if the humidity under the rug (between the rug and the horse) is greater than the air humidity, so that water vapour passes out of the rug. If the air is close to saturation, or it's raining, and the horse isn't being active and sweating and generating heat to 'drive' the moisture out, the rug will just hold the moisure in. The thermal lining also traps the outgoing water vapour and it can condense onto the lining, causing dampness. Very few horse rugs are 'beathable' enough to work effectively. Even top quality breathable fabrics like goretex and eVent don't work in all weather conditions.

This maybe true but if Kamikaze’s horse is only damp under one rug it does point to something different about the breathability of that one rug.
