Hi everyone
Ok so seems a few people have had issues with ebay as well. Here is my major problem. I bought a brand new pair of loveson jodphurs for about £20 last month. I have only worn them a couple of times and a hole has appeared on the seam of the leg on the outside.
I contacted the seller to ask if i could return them for a refund, the response was no and frankly quite rude stating that i need a bigger size!
They are the size i always get and have NEVER had any problems before. I opened a case and the seller quickly closed it.
This is a shop on ebay called value equestrian, i would advise to avoid it like the plague!
So i opened a new case and again the seller said that my story has changed, all along i have said they were worn a couple of times which they were. And that i need a bigger size and should be able to repair the hole. They are missing the point, i should not have to repair a hole on an item worn a couple of times that are the right size! Ebay have not been helpful with this situation and we are at a standstill. I really do not know what to do, i have said they are not fit for purpose and have contact trading standards about this, but still they will not have any of it.
I have made it clear that i have rights as a customer, how would they feel in my situation, i have never had a problem like this before and their customer service sucks!
What is wrong with people! I am so angry and have been trying to sort this out since last week! What gives people the right to say they are too small for someone? If they were too small i would have sent them back, nothing like riding in something that isn't comfortable! Any advice on how to deal with this or should i back down, repair the hole and get on with it?
