Went again with daughter to Tyrella for the EI event. Last time the sun was shining, the sea and mountains looked beautiful and we had a lovely cool down on the beach afterwards. This time it was gale force winds and icy rain. You couldn’t even see the mountains! Molly was less than impressed by dressage in that weather but held it together for a 30.3. First part of double down in the sj - then we spent the next while trying to dry out and also trying to decide whether or not to run xc. Daughter decided she would and her and Molly did really well to jump clear inside the time in the worst possible conditions. Standing watching the wind was nearly blowing me off my feet and my face was stinging with hail hitting it! Finished in 9th - incredibly proud of how they both coped!
