Hiya not sure if I want advice, reassurance or just to get it off my chest but as some people would know we've had varying problems with my young gelding rodeoing when you do any kind of girth up and not moving at all under saddle. Well we've had the vet out as we suspected ulcers the vet after seeing him with a roller done up was very impressed a horse could leap about like that so has referred him for a scope. What has completely thrown me is she's concerned that there could be an orthopaedic problem as he's not crossing his legs over properly when he turns or moving off quite right but he's not obviously lame. I wasn't expecting this at all as he's always been quite a gangly clumsy youngster. So on Tuesday he is off to Newmarket for his scope and then Wednesday they'll decide if to go ahead with the full bone scan. I'm so anxious about leaving him there and the not knowing what's going to happen next.
