Just wanted to hear your experiences with this? Have put stressy ulcer prone horse onto it, and he has certainly had a reaction ! The very helpful man has said that negative reaction means we are on the right track and to persevere, should be sorted in 3 weeks max....
Just wondering what your horses had done, and how long I am likely to have to put up with nightmare horse before he becomes nice horse?

I have, fairly recently.
I have to say Equifeast were very helpful. my mare had a severe reaction to the magnesium. She was wild enough to start with and went completely off her rocker eventhough I only added half a bag of magnesium to the calcium (under their recommendation).
I persevered for 3 weeks and had to stop because she was dangerous. I contacted them immediately and within 2 days she was back to he usual level a idiot-ness. They told me that magnesium leaves the system a lot quicker than the calcium so sent me (FOC) a new starter pack with no added magnesium, which arrived the next day.
She is certainly better now, we finished the loading dose and are now on our first maintenance week and although she is still spooky at times, is having more moments of brilliance.

I would suggest having 2 days off in a row to see if the erratic behaviour stops, if it does your horse could be reacting to the magnesium. For some, too much magnesium can cause a negative effect.

I am going to try my stressy ulcer horse on it in a few weeks and see if it helps him, so the experience certainly hasn't put me off. The science is all there for it to work, you just need to get the levels right

Had a negative reaction which continued, so we stopped giving it. The horse responds well to syringes of NAF magic, so not a magnesium problem. I had high hopes, because a friend had a good result with it on another horse.

Interesting ... We were told to have no magnesium added and just feed the Calcium, and keep the mag in case needed later. Day 6 at the moment!

You may well have the opposite problem then and need to add mag?! they only look at it based on your diet but obviously wouldn't know the level of mag your horse takes from your grazing.
Chelated calcium and magnesium support each other, so you need the right level of each. You could perhaps try adding magnesium daily by the teaspoon??
(I don't work for them by the way...! haha)

Hiya we have been on CCC for sometime now. I had a few hiccups getting the Magnesium level correct as other feed and quality of grazing has quite an impact. We are now settled into a beautiful rythmn of Mag free and my Cob is the lovely boy he was when I first bought him.it is well worth keeping in close contact with equifeast I do know a few people who have tried it but not persevered with getting dosing correct. I suppose it depends if you want a quick fix or not.
I am very pleased and we have been on this product since 2013. I currently feed the supplement that contains CCC - winning edge silver Mag free as my lovely boy is on the joint supplement and extra vits that are bundled up in this product.
Before you ask I don't work for them and was quite sceptical but desperate until I tried their products.
