Hi all. So, having fun with my new pony, he was a gem tonight. Had a groom and a chat, learning all his little quirks and habits... One of them being the game "hiding my poo in my bed, so my mummy has to hunt for it"!!

He still manages to find it though, and rub it on his body... So any one recommend a stable stain remover that doesn't require washing off or bathing!!

Echo Cowboy Magic, and a lottery win to keep stock of it! Otherwise I'm afraid you may have to live with your new 'Poobald' :)

Ha poobald I've of several of those :p I'm a pro poo hunter but if I can't find it my dogs always do.

don't bother with stain remover I'd need a mortgage with the amount of poo and mud my horses paint themselves with daily.

I'm so glad it's going well, lots of pictures!

Hot water and do it as soon as you see it. Fresh stains come out very easily whereas dried in ones take hours of scrubbing! 3 of my 4 have been grey!

i would just use warm water and fairy liquid if i were you. my friend had a grey and this is what she did, everyday she would wash the stains off him after she rode he was always sparkling :D

Ah the joy of horses! What colour is he? Cowboy magic is great for greys. :)

He is an Appaloosa Skewbald... but with mostly white bits (I always said I didn't want a horse with more white than colour!!)

I used baby wipes last night, they seemed to remove most of them, but there are a few dried on ones, so think I will go for the warm water and fairy liquid trick, see how that goes. :)

I have a mainly white poobald (the only 'real' brown patches are his head, on his bum around his tail and on his right shoulder) and he absolutely covers himself! I swear he wants to be bay!

I have found that cowboy magic is quite rubbish, it won't get rid of even the smallest and palest of stains. No matter how much scrubbing and buckets of warm water I get through!

Lynn Russel stain remover (the pink liquid in the clear bottle) is literally the best stain remover I have ever come across. I have been using it for years and it is absolutely fantastic. It is the only stain remover I have found that actually does it's job.

I also have an absorbine one that I am yet to try so I can't really give you a review on that!
