Just catching up on some of this as I was competing this morning. Favourite horse so far was Davina Royal and José, that to me is what the contact should look like in dressage! I'm glad Adelinde got the bell, that was very uncomfortable to watch and rather showed how she likes to train.

I haven't read through most of the thread yet as have only watched a little of the coverage but when Fiona Bigwood rode her didn't she tend to have the curb rein really loose or am I thinking of someone else?

I saw this too late to watch live but had a feast of it on catch up, followed by the tennis. It cheered up, what had been, a pretty miserable day. I thoroughly enjoyed PS's commentary and in particular appreciated his explanation of where and why judges would be deducting marks. I also thought his attention to contact was really helpful. Some lovely tests with only a few that looked rather uncomfortable and again I thought PS's comments were accurate and he was unafraid of describing what he was seeing from a judge's POV. Great stuff. And then the tennis! Wow, just WOW!
