Attila_the_Hungry (GREAT name btw), i think the selectors have to be given huge wiggle room, otherwise it can get to the stage it did in the U.S. where the criteria were very specific and someone who didn't get picked, having satisfied the criteria, sued the selectors (or was it AHSA?).
when it comes down to it, there are SO many variables, the selectors need carte blanche up until the last minute imho.
