I think the ground will be riding better than it sounds because it's sand so needs to be firm. Anyone who has done fast work on the beach will remember how hard it sounds but it actually isn't

That's what I was thinking to, the horse didn't make any attempt to get up when it fell

Can't believe all these horse falls in such a short space of time!

The grey French horse was being tricky with his head tbf but the chestnut was going so well, I was shocked!

Can't wait for William in a few minutes =]

I'm not normally a martingale person (a lot of SJ'er and eventers do seem to just have them because they think they should) but he first grey faller was trying to put his ears in the riders mouth.... glad they're both ok

has anyone noticed that its the horses that are chasing the time that are falling?! such a shame, its towards the end where is starts to go wrong expeccially for those french riders
