I have just had an email from a woman I bought , NOT loaned, a couple of horses from last year saying that she will be coming to see them on such and such a date
I feel as if I am being inspected
Not, I'm down your way, could I pop in? (They live up past Toronto so not a 20 minute drive)
I haven't replied yet, but she's not going to like it when she finds out that I've sold them both !
I am of the mind that when a horse is sold, it's sold, no longer mine, if I saw them at a show, or out and about then I'd ask how things were going, but I would never consider visiting, I might not like what I find.
How do you feel about ex-owners keeping tabs on what is now your horse?
