Articfox, there was an ROR demo at SNEC last night. Wish I'd thought to post earlier. Didn't stay to watch after my lesson, but the car park was mobbed, yet very peaceful! One shouty horse, and everyone else was very chilled out

I would agree with Helen75 definitively a learning curve. Having to teach a horse to lunge from start a new thing for me, you realise how easy it is to get into getting in front of the shoulder etc when you lunge a horse that knows what it is doing. Does make you think more about your riding, instructions to horse etc. Probably easier if you are not as old and set in your ways as I am or if you are used to riding a variety of horses.
