Yay, you can finally meet the schiplet, he'll only be two years old by then. ? And yes the course walking is less than ideal, at least at a 'normal' show you can spectate for a bit and refresh your memory before your run, sounds like we won't be able to hang about in the arena to do that. Sounds like a much shorter day overall though, hopefully no hanging about for runs and packing away in the dark. Trying to see the positives as at least I can finally get the wee bugger out competing.

Ooh how exciting - when?? Full report needed!

Hahaha there was a whippet at our show, she was superb, so quick and agile, and obedient - I have high hopes for you.

I'll have to get some videos of Dobby in his last foundations session.....he is quick and agile but obedient he is not! God knows how I'll ever keep up with him should we get to the point where we do more than 2 peices of equipment at a time! If I can ever get him to behave at flyball we might stick to that ?

Been training at the new venue tonight MM (though with a different club) and it’s enormous - social distancing won’t be an issue! Great lighting and surface. Fingers crossed it all goes well and we have a new luxury show venue for the season.

Last night no problem at all because we were the first dogs to ever train there - I didn’t even get the customary 10 minutes of bogging off and intense sniffing before he was ready to work, he didn’t embarrass me once! Might be a bit smellier and interesting by the time the shows roll around though. There is also a resident cat and it only has three legs so I’m desperately glad I’m not running Dax these days... ?

You forget I have the Pickle monster, he can find smells where they don't exist :)

Yesterday we had a group training session with Ian Patz, which was excellent, I got a lot out of it. Juno is very sensitive to my body language so I have to make sure I don't turn too quickly, which is what Leah was saying but I didn't quite get it. Tonight at our regular agility class, I also realised that the timing is crucial, literally fractions of seconds can make a difference.

Regarding timing, it can be really embarassing interesting to film and watch your handling back in slow mo. So many times I've thought I've cued something in good time but not got the result I wanted, and it's only when you watch it back you realise the dog decided their path looooooooong before your cue. ? Good to spot what your hands are doing and where shoulders and feet are pointing too.
