i found a fag butt in my global herb garlic. When i spoke to the manager he told me that in china where it is manafactured unfortunately they all smoke!!!

Its not so bad as your the second who has complained when so much is produced, thats shocking as a response I wouldnt settle for that not in a million years.... Trading Standards would be getting a call from me and the company purchased the product from, Is there anyone highter that the person you have spoken to if so get a name and send a letter. I for one will not be purchasing a product from this company if this is their attitude to customers and the quality of their products.
I dont use the products now as they are not labelled with ingredients so you do not know what is in them, many are very dusty and they could contain anything.
So it does not really surprise me, I use Hilton Herbs as they are clearly labelled and produced in the UK.
this is going to throw a spanner in the works a bit, but i'm 95% certain that the products are actually 'potted' and labelled onsite. they may get the actual supplement in from china, but certainly up until 9 months ago all the potting and labelling was all done on site. they only have one site in the UK, in west sussex so head office is the same place. whats more if u spoke to a man, i'm pretty sure its the boss man himself (the one who i've been told is a bit of a...well...not allowed to say it on here!)![]()
yes i have used half a bag.. yes i was angry at the fag but .. but more angry at the response to it... saying that as its manafactured in china unfortunately they all smoke!!! and when i said i cant believe waht he said... he asked me what i wanted him to say!!!
dam right rude ... oh and he said that they keep asking the chinese but unfortunately he doesnt speak chinese!!! in my eyes that is not good enough response from anyone let alone a manger
In that case they should be offering you more than a refund! I too would be more angry at the managers response. Letter to the head office might not do anything, but worth a try if it gets him pulled up for his attitude. If they record calls, that may go as proof in your favour also.
We took on Global Herbs products to stock in our shop, but I was very unhappy with the lack of information on the bottle - no ingredients shown there at all! We now stock Equus, and are very happy with their knowledge and help.
