Fair weather rider...

I'm obviously in a confessional mood -- but have just hired an indoor school for Friday cos I'm so sick of being soggy... and I said I'd never be a fair weather rider... guess with old age comes wussiness...

Its ok to treat yourself once in a while.


We have plenty fair weather rider at my yard. Normally a Monday night the school is busy yet in the pouring rain and strong winds I had the school to myself and managed to ride my horse and my sisters pony.

Soaking wet, pitch black, a spooky and wet horse I understood why no-one was down riding.

nothing wrong with being a fair weather rider! Horses dont like going out in nasty weather so if you dont NEED to go out then dont!!
