2 pcs 2 different locations and hey presto.... still it makes for good reading whilst hubby is watching a film, 3 cheers for "Giles" hho very own soap... coming to a thread near you soon!
I like Giles. He's stupid to an extent that's practically heroic. He says scaring deer with his dogs shouldn't be illegal, the Government says it's not illegal, as does DEFRA, yet he's going to Europe to have this legal activity made... er... legal.
I'm not sure I agree with him though that it's a good thing artificially to boost fox numbers then kill them because they're pests. I also balk at his declaration that Chernobyl was a "god send" for the environment. There are also the allegations about the HHO meet...
Flushijg out deer with dogs IS illegal. The Government and the RASPCA have sucessfully argued that in court. The law clearly states that flushing out deer with dogs is illegal.
"the Government says it's not illegal, as does DEFRA, yet he's going to Europe to have this legal activity made... er... legal. "
Defra is the Government.
Defra argued in court that flushing out wild deer with dogs IS illegal. Why are you claiming they argued that it isn't.
The court found that Parliament was within it's rights to make flushing out wild deer with dogs. This was an historic victory for the anti hunt movement.
I cannot understand why you are seeking to deny it.
Flushing out a deer is the stage in a hunt after seaching for it and immediately before the chase. By requiring the deer to be shot the law ensures it cannot be chased.
What Bradshaw does is search for deer, flush them out and the chase them with his dogs.
If that is legal as you claim then the Hunting Act would be completely innefective.
It is illegal to flush wild deer unless they are shot.
