Do they stay sticky after washing or do they wear off? ?

I actually really like my derby house waterproof ones, cheap and cheerful and are so far wearing well!

edit: they are listed as water resistant, but have kept me pretty dry in all weathers!

Stay sticky!! They’re super shiny sticky when they first arrive. The shiny ness dulls after a couple of washes BUT still super sticky!

Slightly offtopic because they are breeches, but I ordered the LeMieux DryTex. Not cheap, but I really need thoroughly waterproof breeches (I'm in The Netherlands, probably as wet as the UK).

No they are not all like that, did you buy the Becca ones with just knee patches?

Not sure of the model name but yes they only have knee patches. I hate full seat breeches but haven’t ever had a problem with non-full seat being slippery, these are a very different type of material to breeches though

Yeah , i have 6 pairs of those and they are very slippy and shiny and no other tights I have are as shiny and slippy. I wont wear them with my leather saddle ?

I went for a riding skirt instead of waterproof breeches because it also keeps the saddle dry and stops it getting wrecked. It's genuinely one of the best things I've bought recently.

I sent these back last year, as didnt fit me well. And size up would have been too big in other places.

Yes, fit is very personal. I HAVE to try on before buying. Every brand, and every model seems to fit me differently.

I’ve never owned a pair, I’m quite happy with jods, but I’ve had quite a lot of liveries wandering around in them and so many have been really see through.
