Fed up with 'neglectant' livery on yard I stable on

Good point lula,

Now let me tell you, there is. This person, called polarskye at my yard, she is a beeatch, on bugger, I said her. Name. Only joking polar....

I don't understand why someone would write something that isn't true?! Especially something that doesn't relate to them? What right does this Emz have to go through all her posts? Why is she going through alll her posts? Stalkerish and weird IMO.

Most of us would probably go through their posts if they had been told that some of them were about us...

Where was this ladie's post though? It wasn't on here...

Very wierd thread.

err, because they're on the internet and public to anyone?
also what honey said. i'd assume she found out or accidently discovered a fellow livery at her yard had been discussing her here and went through her posts to see what had been said.
sounds reasonable enough, if true ofcourse.

Yes but this Emz person made out like she found out because she was snooping through the other user's posts. That's weird and tough if you find something you don't like, its like going through someones phone/diary and finding something. I know this is public but still!

None of us know the truth. Just a bit weird IMO

I rather think people are commenting on the original post without seeing that it's 18 months old! :D

I do think it's unwise to come on a forum and critisize people or your yard, especially make allegations about neglect etc, if there's any chance at all you'll be identified. I've been spotted here once by someone who seemed to take offence (even though I've never critisized anyone...) and I've spotted someone one here who thought they were unrecognisable. :o

It's worth remembering posts here stay up for all to see. If you're going to say something about someone else, you need to make sure you're really anonymous, and never tell a soul you use this site.

so, if you happened to read a post that i made about a year ago saying that i thought your pony was neglected and you were a ***** owner, you'd just say 'oh well, thats just tough on me as i shouldn't be reading her old posts' and not respond in your own defense?

also, i think if you read emsky's post properly, she didnt say that she found this thread BECAUSE she'd been reading through the OP's posts, just that she had been reading them. (probably after finding out this existed)

It's not very sensible to post in defence if it means dragging up a previously buried thread. Better to have left it alone surely? It didn't mention a person horse or yard name so most people reading would have no idea who it was about. We still don't have real names but we do now know which user on here its about. Bit daft to have posted IMO.

does surprise me that this is a membership forum which should be private from things like google searches but lo and behold post on here and it comes up in google searches pretty quickly....

...but it obviously incensed the poster to respond because they felt aggrieved, and I would too, after burying said person head-first in the muckheap on the yard....:p

No I would be angry too, but I wouldn't have bothered dragging it up on here, I'd have either PMd them or spoke to them in person next time I saw them!

And its all very well saying 'if someone had posted a load of s**it on a forum about you' but hang on a minute- NONE of us know whether it is a load of bull or whether this Nat person was telling the truth. None of us will probably know either way, but I suspect a lot of people that neglect their animals have some sort of excuse or rarely admit to it! NOT that I am saying this Ems person is, at all, she's probably not but none of us know the ins and outs or facts do we.

I feel sorry for both of them as what an awkward position to be in, I hope its all just a misunderstanding and they managed to sort it out

I think the second poster's aim was to humiliate and embarrass the first one, and probably doesn't care that the allegations about herself are back up at the top of the forum. After all, she's not an active member here and is anonymous.

I can also sympathise, iv seen similar happen in yards iv been at and hated it. Horses stood in their own **** with no clean bedding, if they were lucky they may get a slice of straw chucked on top. Kicking the door as they have nothing to eat and seem dull in their eyes. It isn't nice for anybody on that yard and after selling a horse who didn't get a good home but seemed fab, I will never sell a horse again

YO has said something to her on a number of occasions but this woman just doesnt seem to care. Her attitude is 'it'll be right'. Perhaps charging is an idea.. I just want to smack her, she doesn't deserve horses, I wish somehow they'd be taken off her. It's ridiculous how little anyone can do.

Fii, sadly we don't have winter turnout on this yard, they can be turned in the arena for 20 mins if no one is riding. Grazing wise, I try to take mine for a wander on the lane to nibble the verge.

:eek::eek:But it's nots winter???:confused:
