Hello,
Posted on here last week about feed advice for my new boy. Found that he was silly on calm and condition. Decided to avoid all molasses, cerals, starch etc. Put him on simple systems green gold and top nosh, which he has been on for a week. It seems that some people's warnings on how lucerne can be very rich and send them silly are coming true. His energy levels are definitely up, but he is getting silly, spooky and a bit bolshy. Now he does need some more topline and a bit more weight on, but have only had him a short while and can't have him stupid, so no molasses etc!
Help! Need to get this sorted, don't want him dropping off but need him calm and sensible. So I was thinking allen and page fast fibre? But need a good non heating chaff - honey chop oat straw chaff? Also been told about grass nuts, top spec cool conditioning cubes, top spec calmer? Experiences, opinions please lovely people! So stressed!
