Feed scoop sizes...

Just curious to know how much feed different scoops take... sounds strange but I've got an aluminium medium size one and I want to know whether a round one (the type most people use) carries more feed. Any ideas?

Different makes of scoop will most likely have different volumes so the answer to your question is probably yes! Way to find out is to weigh contents of your scoop and then weigh contents of a stubbs scoop.

Agree with B&J - it will depend on the feed and the scoop. The back of my Allen & Page mix bag says that 1 stubbs scoop is about 1kg of that mix. My little plastic scoop is about half that.

i weigh out the boys food every tie & dont rely on scoop size, but then he is a bugger for putting on weighgt by looking at food.
