Feeding a balancer

I’ve just moved mine onto TopSpec Joint Balancer.

it’s saying to feed 400g for a 400KG horse - this is about a pint a day. Seems a huge amount... is this normal or am I getting it totally wrong?

No that sounds about right for a TS balancer. If you feed less than the recommended you don’t get the full amount of the joint supplement needed for that size horse 😊 So your 15kg bag should last you about 37ish days

Yup most balancers are 100g per 100kg bodyweight.
My broodmare is getting 1kg stud balancer a day! That soon gets through a bag 😅
