Feeding bone and "normal" food in the one day?

Have been reading a few of the RAW threads on here and have picked up that raw food and commercial foods shouldn't be fed on the same day.
Tinker is still on her lifetime diet of scraps (mother would have an fit if I started feeding the dog raw, you should see the clean up operation after any raw meat for US has been used ) but as the OHs father is a Butcher I now bring her back a nice bone every week.

Tink gets two, small, meals a day, but I've been giving her the bone in the morning which keeps her busy all day, and just a small bit of meat etc from our evening meal. However its just dawned on me that perhaps I shouldn't be mixing the two?
Its quite a "meaty" bone, which she then strips clean, is it safe to give her the bone and a small evening meal?

Its ok as long as its not in the same meal.

If your giving her meat in the afternoon it should be fine just no dry do food until 12 hours after she has finished the bone.

Thanks. She rarely gets dry kibble anyway, she's very disdainful about such things.
