I am having to feed my native mare Haylite at the moment due to being unable to soak hay (she suffers from COPD) and because she is stabled at present is getting through loads of the stuff! Am I right to worry that feeding Haylite could bring on an attack of lamintis? (She has had this in the past) I don't really know what to do as we buy from our YO and Haylite is the only option apart from hay. I don't really have the facilities to steam hay either. As soon as I am able I will go back to soaking and feeding hay but am worried in the meantime!
