After the feeding thread I posted the other day I was going to change my TB over to Ready Mash extra but I had a look at him tonight and he is actually looking quite well. He still needs to build some muscle up but for now I am reasonably happy with him.

What do you think? (sorry it's a really rubbishy picture, will try and get more tomorrow if need be!) He's a 16.2hh, 16 yo, TB.

I am however going to add some Linseed to his diet, what is the best type to buy and how much roughly should I feed?

Looks pretty ok,I think,for a 16 yr old TB.
I use Charnwood Milling Linseed & feed a good big mugful a day.
(Ready Mash Extra sent mine bonkers!)

I buy the seeds whole as this is the cheapest way to buy them, then each day I grind one cupful per horse in a coffee grinder. Takes only seconds to do - just off to do mine now.

Time to imprison my Clydesadle for the night!
