Several weeks ago, I responded to a post about what we feed our dogs and I mentioned feeding raw chicken but the amounts I quoted were met by responses to the effect that I feed them too much! I actually have no idea how much raw food a dog should have; a local butcher saves all the unwanted bits of chicken etc - sometimes two or three massive bags for £5 - and I basically feed them a carcass or two each plus wings and other unmentionable bits. I must admit that our two year old Golden Retriever is looking a little bit less than slim recently (despite long, active daily walks) and perhaps there is someone out there who can put me on the right track! Dogs in question are springers, Golden Retriever and Munsterlander (aged between one and three and a half years, so all young, active, healthy dogs). Hope someone out there can help me!
