Female dog peeing everywhere!

I would book a vet visit asap ot rule out a uti and any other medical problem, as you haven't had her long.
I've made a note of that technique now, I wonder what the dog thinks is going on!

We had a bitch, who as soon as she noticed what you were doing stopped mid-flow, glared at the 'collector' and walked off.

Our dog was doing this a few weeks ago and she had a UTI. Poor thing even weed on the vets table (until this she has been perfectly house-trained! I'd pop to the vet when they open for some antibiotics.

I use a clean frying pan. The more hygeinic may well use other things. I follow the dog nonchalently around the garden and then whip it into position when they are past the point of no return. Then transfer to a clean jar.

Genius, I’ve got a small frying pan that doesn’t work on my induction hob that I’ve been meaning to throw out for about 3 years ... I knew it had a purpose ?

This might be a stupid or ignorant question but how do you get a urine sample? Asking more for general knowledge although I imagine OP will find it hard to get a sample if her dog isn't predictable right now in its toileting

I’ve got a Rufus who is doing this at the moment. He’s being very temperamental when it comes to parting with his wee, although he’s doing it quite freely when there’s not a collection pot in sight, hence why I need a sample!!

Going to have to get a bit more inventive tomorrow because I can’t turn up at the vets without a sample AGAIN :)
