Hi all, just a quick question.
Horse in question needs to put on condition (horse belongs to a friend who has recently bought her, and needs to gain weight as a bit poor, all health checks, teeth fine etc, all worming clear etc)
Anyway we were talking about readymash extra and I said i'd used it before, but she commented it had lots of cereals and she would need to feed 3 or 4 scoops a day, split over 3 feeds, and thought this was too much grain. From memory I think there is barley, maize and oats in it?
She mentioned fibre beet (same company who make speedi beet). Would this be good for adding condition? Has anyone used it for weight gain?
Horse also is having 2mugs micronised linseed and a scoop of veteran chaff.
Would fibre beet add condition? sorry for long winded question! thanks.
