Fibre Feed with no cereals or alfalfa

Preferably suitable for fatties.

I’m trying to find something that doesn’t contain any cereals or alfalfa for my old mare. She has Cushings so need high fibre and ideally something that isn’t chaff as she prefers soaked feeds.

Any ideas?
 
Soaked grass nuts???

My lot love them, though I do add fast fibre and grass chaff.....

You can soak the grass nuts on their own though...

Unmollassed beet pulp (Equibeet, Speedybeet etc) and/or Rowan Barbary Ready Fibre Mash which is soya hulls. Kept my 36 yr old dentally challenged PPID mare in reasonable condition throughout her last few years.
 
high fiber cubes, then tend to have "wheatfeed" and "oatfeed" but if I remember well it is just bran so not the actual nutritious part of the grain. I like the Spillers cubes as they are very palatable and smell good to me too.

yep I just feed soaked grass nuts to one of mine.
There are various kinds available with different nutritional profiles, I use standard Emerald Green ones, they have some that are a bit lighter if that's a concern (meadow magic)
 
Lots of suggestions to try , Thankyou :)

She has a sensitive digestion and Speedibeet or anything with Alfalfa or cereals in gives her a runny bottom :(. I loved the idea of Pink Mash but she refused to eat it.

I was really hoping to find something that would do all mine (lazy owner!) The other three are natives too, one elderly but two are fat! I just assumed all grass nuts were the same with regard to sugar, so will have a look at those.
 
Emerald green grass nuts as a base and if weight gain needed then add a bit of linseed although I am a convert to pink mash as my geriatrics get the squits at this time of year. All mine get the same from a yearling to a 28 year old as I dont like messing with feeds for different needs
 
I like the Thunderbrooks meadow nuts for my two ponies. My cushings pony is getting less interested in his feed and I am trying to find out what suits him best. He always finishes it off given enough time but will eat his hay first in preference. It is hard for me as I am so used to feed-orientated lick-the-bowl-clean ponies!

TBJ if the hay is good quality. I only feed bucket feeds as a carrier for any supplements. It is like the icing on a very big cake, the cake being the hay, and such a small % of the total daily intake it isn't hugely significant, except for one whose metabolism isn't great. Another has PPID and doesn't always clean up, changing the habit of a lifetime lol. I have some really good hay this year and all my formerly greedy lot will leave a feed to go to their nets.
 
we use wiesencobs but would use other hay cobs soaked. We (well mum) didn't like the meadow magic so much although it is also low sugar/starch

What was the issue with the meadow magic?

I feed my fatties the Kramer hay cobs which are the same idea. They love them, feed doesn't touch the sides even with nasty supplements in!

I add the Thnderbrooks base to the meadow nuts so ideally I want him to eat up but I am coming round to the decision that if he is looking fine just on the hay I am not that bothered 😁

I didn’t know they did flakes. Agrobs would be my first choice but supply problems have been awful in the past and I’m not happy about changing feeds when I can’t get hold of it.

I can't remember, something to do with how it was when soaked I think? Never got to see it myself but she decided she'd rather spend more on the weisencobs!
I've been feeding agrobs for 4ish years now and never had a supply issue but have always kept some extra in stock in case.
