Find me a horse for a novice please!

I'm looking for a horse on behalf of a friend.

It needs to be -

Safe, sane and sensible enough for a complete novice/beginner.

Must have hunted in the past and still be up to a couple of days each season.

16hh -17hh (could go slightly smaller but would have to be a bigger build as rider is tall)

Any age as long as fit and healthy.

No pure TB's (been there, done that and now first horse is for sale!)

Needs to be in the Shropshire/Hereford or surrounding counties.

Lowish budget of £2500 but would consider part Ex or swap with current horse!

So all you horse hunters please find me a horse

Oh forgot to say would probably prefer a gelding but if the right horse was a mare we wouldn't say no!

My geography is pants .Where about is that in the country ? South/West. I have no idea. I would be happy to search if I knew that
