Anyone know of any good lights to attach to rugs. All the other horses stand by the gate in an evening, mine finds the best grazing and hides. Its a big dark field and despite hi viz reflective stripes I am struggling to find him.
As someone else turns him out for me, I really need something that can be left on permanently. Any ideas?

One of these clipped onto the rug?

But you will need a good supply of batteries for anything like this!
My foal had foal slip on right thru to yearling, with a hi viz noseband it was easy to see her, [torch] and she always stayed with the crowd. Train them to come to call. Mine know my routine, and I stop the van [diesel] as I pass the field, then they come to the gate.

you could do with one of those key finders which when you whistle it flashes and beeps, but without the beep as will probably freak the horse out lol.

or a Clip on LED light but you will spend a fortune on batteries, same with bike lights etc.

What about a solar light which would only light up in the dark?

Mine wears one fluoro leg band (Velcro for hacking) easy peasy to find him by just the flash of the torch round the field :) being on his leg is less likely to get as caked in mud all over as would on rug!
