After yesterday's little upset I was considering putting a little doggy first aid kit in the boot of the car, any ideas on what should go in there? I know you can buy them ready made up but I was thinking it might be cheaper to buy the essential bits separately?
For those who don't read the diary thread and are interested, Henry got jumped on by a group of dogs and was left quite shaken. No harm done this time but it did sound as though he was being skinned alive, and I'm not that close the emergency vets at weekends as the branch practice we normally visit is not open.
What with that and his spangley barbed wire-related habits, it seems like a good idea to chuck a few bits into the boot!
I was thinking antiseptic wipes of some kind and dressings would be the most important bits, anything else?
