and it went amazingly!!

I can't believe how far she has come recently! Two months ago she was a nappy, dangerous nightmare that I couldn't ride without someone with me on foot (some of you may remember my previous posts), I never in a million years thought that I could take her out anywhere so soon and actually enjoy it. I would have laughed at anyone who said I could!

Today she was such a super star, so chilled and relaxed about the whole thing :D We only hired a school to do a bit of flat-work but she went so well that I couldn't resist popping a tiny fence with her, I haven't jumped her since I tried her in September!

So proud right now :D

A few piccys (please note that I am aware that I am riding like a pile of dung and that she isn't working correctly but the aim for today was firstly to survive followed by having fun!)

Ready to go

Looking pretty

Arrived and being surprisingly calm!

On board

Me looking like a pleb but my grin says it all

Canter

First jump since I tried her in September

More cheesy grins

Dodgey arms but I love this

More plebishness from me but she looks good

Trot

And finally ready for home

Lots of cheesy grins from me, I'm surprised I didn't catch any flies in my teeth :o :D

Thank you for reading this rather pointless thread, Pic 'n' mix if you made it to the end!

Ah what a nice thread! Well done, you both look very happy! And for what it's worth I'm just dreaming of this type of adventure, but first I have to remember how to canter without tipping forward and putting my feet by his tail ;)

Well done! She's lovely. Bf's crossdrum spurs mare is unfortunately being a total rat bag at the minute... Sigh! I bet the jumping was fun though, if she's like our one she will be very bold and very clever- maybe too clever!

Thank you all :)

Oh no, she'd been going so well! What's she doing?

She loved the jumping, didn't even hesitate :D Can't wait to do more with her now, just trying to think of somewhere to take her over the weekend!
