I am sitting here with double bridle in hand, as likewise have baby brain without looking.
The cheekpiece that is part of the main headpiece has the "curb" bit, then the the cheekpice on mine that fits under the headpiece has the snaffle bit. So the Snaffle bit lies behind the curb bit. Does this make sense??

oh, now I am even more confused! lol Which is the bradoon, is that the snaffle one

I ridden in them loads when I was working with show ponies, they were always put together for me

lol! So if I am standing with the bridle in my hand with the noseband pointing left ( as if I am on the near side) then the snaffle should be on the right?
Then whilst off the horse the point of the snaffle should be hanging down about 1 inch below the curb?
Thanks
