Hi there I have recently bought at a great price a very nice Albion older type dressage saddle for my horse, however, it has been converted to Flair. Now I am fairly experienced when it comes to fitting my own saddles, at least the regular flocked ones.(please don't shoot me down for that statement :)) But, I am not totally sure how to go about getting this one fitted to my horse and don't want to make a silly mistake. I am aware that I can buy the pump from Flair and make my own adjustments and I have also just contacted a Flair fitter, but she is quite far away from me and can't come over to see me for quite sometime. So, please can anyone offer some advice or experiences on fitting or even recommend me a decent flair fitter local to RG24 postal code ( Hampshire/Berkshire border) thanks for reading!!

final alternative of course is to have it converted back to flocking????

I'm too far away to give recommendations for a fitter but I've got a wow saddle and always get it adjusted by my fitter. I had a pump kit that came with another saddle but never felt confident to do it myself. It feels so different to flock and you need to sit in the saddle really before making fine adjustments. . I just couldn't coordinate that!
I can feel when it needs changing as I go out of balance but tbh my air bags rarely need adjusting now, its usually just a headplate swap ;)

Anyway, that's a long way of saying I trust myself to spot a well or badly fitting flock saddle but my flair is just too much for me to do myself.
First thought equine used to run client fitting courses which would probably help, may be worth investigating?
