My horse is out 24/7 and is being plagued by flies so I am trying him in a Rambo flymask tonight .. however I'm willing to bet it will be off by the morning. Any recommendations for good masks that are likely to stay secure? thanks

They pretty much all come off

sew an elastic loop onto the top of the fly mask - ie where headpiece would sit, and thread a field safe headcollar through it. The aerborne ones are ace and sit quite snug without rubbing - voilla!!

my boy has an equilibrium one, which so far (touch wood) has stayed on
other horses on the yard have Roma and Horseware ones, which seem to also stay on

The Farnam Supermasks are very good, last for years and seem to stay put , as do the Premier Equine ones (My horse hasn't removed his yet!) .

my mare has the equilibrium with ears.i have tried loads not least because her skin is very sensitive and others have rubbed.it doesnt come off its not the cheapest but i would recomend.

I second Shires with ears and nose, fleece lined and doesnt shift easily, even with a rolling ned trying everything to be rid of lol, has now given up and is quite happy with it on!

Not a bad price either!
