One of mine is driven mad by midges and flys. I worry about leaving fly masks on over night. Which masks have best vision for wearing at night?
Mine keep fly masks on all night in summer. They just wear which ever they have at the time, I've not really given much thought to which had best vision. I think as long as they are well fitting and have good eye clearance they are probably much the same.
That’s interesting, I have one that gets marks, only hair rubs but I’ve not tried Cashel. The Cashel Crusader is the only one I have found which doesn't rub at all. Esecially during coat change season, the other brands I have used leave a mark across the nose.
I actually look through them myself to see how dark they are! Some are really dark! Personally I don't like leaving them on overnight for that reason unless the flies are really bad so it's the lesser if 2 evils. One of mine is driven mad by midges and flys. This is what I do. I've found that fine black mesh have much better visibility. The thicker mesh white/grey/beige ones are much more limited in vision. I have been using the Shires masks successfully overnight, but they do fade eventually, so may treat her to a new one this year.I actually look through them myself to see how dark they are!
