Just had the best ride

I have been hacking out as much as possible over the past week in company of another horse and with my son on a bike, and it hasn't all gone to plan but at least we have managed to hack out!!
So today I decided its about time to go out alone
Managed to get out of the yard and through the gates quite happily and then had a sticky moment about 100m down the lane but did get going again with persistant leg aids! Then found a huge stubble field (which we have permission to ride in) and had a wonderful time walking, trotting, cantering and an attempt at a gallop
So pleased with the boy
He was a bit worried to start but soon realised that we were out for some fun, when we finally headed for home he was knackered, but happy!!
Want to go again now
