Just had the best ride :) :) :)

I have been hacking out as much as possible over the past week in company of another horse and with my son on a bike, and it hasn't all gone to plan but at least we have managed to hack out!!

So today I decided its about time to go out alone :o

Managed to get out of the yard and through the gates quite happily and then had a sticky moment about 100m down the lane but did get going again with persistant leg aids! Then found a huge stubble field (which we have permission to ride in) and had a wonderful time walking, trotting, cantering and an attempt at a gallop :) So pleased with the boy :)

He was a bit worried to start but soon realised that we were out for some fun, when we finally headed for home he was knackered, but happy!!

Want to go again now :)

Well done you, very brave and look what a great result you had.

I too had a fab hack on my girly today not quite as exciting as yours but after all our troubles (see post from Friday So Happy and relieved) we hacked out to the woods today and even managed a little trot and she was such a good girl so I am sharing your happiness :-)

Here's to lots more successful hacks for us both :)
