and the one from this morning saying they were all stood happily together (with Blue at the other side of the tape) I went down this afternoon to find Blue and Tara grooming each other, again over the tape. It brought tears to my eyes as Tara has lived alone for four years and she must be enjoying the equine interaction so much

However, as I was filling Blue's water up he slipped past me and into Ellie and Tara's paddock. Well, Blue turned into a raging monster almost immediately and set off after Tara and gave her a right kick

Got the sod back in his field and the two of them are immediately all lovey dovey over the tape again

Looks like they will have to be kept apart for a while longer yet.

In yesterdays post about the fighting. Obviously the youngster is quite happy to tollerate the new horse to some degree - but needs more room to do it in. 2 acres is not enough for an established group - a new grouping will be much more successfully intergrated in around 5.

Here's hoping they can learn to get along. Is there any way you could give them more space to avoid each other, even if its just temporary?
