The grit and salt did infact start to work last night, Its starting to snap crackle and pop, Was able to clear a walk way to the field and down into the arena, Field isn't just yet safe, but YO used the grit to her advantage this morning and put her horse out into the other field which I didn't see this morning (yard is on a hill) Her horse is down near the house, The actual yard is at the top of the lane, Anyhoos lane still wasn't clear enough to put horse out into said field , so put her down into arena and the inevitable happened, She seen yo's horse or yo's horse seen madam and the two of them nickered at each other whilst madam went around arena 100 mph snorting, next of all out she pops into bad field breaking the top railing
....Eventually catch her and bring her back in .
Moral of the story is ....GRIT YOUR BLOODY YARD AND GET HORSES OUT IF POSSIBLE before they go bloody nuts and do something stupid
.
Darn horse I think is ok, although will not know until later if she has hurt herself ie swelling etc, no gashes that I could see , so fingers crossed eh?
*disclaimer .... This is not a debate nor is it getting at anyone who can't get their yard cleared up for one genuine reason or another, Im having a sh1tty day and its not getting any better *
