Following on from photo_jo's post, style critique please?

Thinking about it, I am very concerned that so many so called experienced people cant tell the difference between a horse and a dog.
Hint, all pics so far are dogs.

I feel I must complain that: a) the photos are toooo big. b) he is without protector boots of any kind and c) NO BLING.

Agree and where is the half a dead sheep? are you not taking your jumping seriously? Why go for a flash, get a grackle and make sure you can't even get your little finger through it.

I think my JRT simply has THE best technique!!! :)

See, I wasn't lying PM. I really do love hounds, I even have one of my own :p

I can't believe that you all think these dogs are doing nice flatwork! Given that I've not seen one yet in white bandages its impossible for them to have nice paces or lateral work. Priorities, please people.

And no Anky pads bandages and matchy matchy

Sheesh standards are slipping.

My main concern is the unusal tail action being displayed in most pictures - it would suggest tightness or some other problem in the rear end that is common in the industry.

I think everyone needs to re-think their training methods as obviously everyone is doing some thing wrong! You wouldnt see this in the wild! It is not natural and therefore MUST be cruel.

well all is lost at this end then..... no dead sheep, no bling, and we can't seem to master a square halt!

Any tips would be greatfully received:D

And a stallion Chain, must be a real handful

yes he is quite a handful, however he was worse in his younger days.... you couldn't rugby tackle him as he was adept at getting his one back leg out of your grasp.

Damn, you really think we have a bitting problem????

This thread is absolutely wonderful, please keep it going, I am just trying to work out how to post photos, my hens have a wonderful jump in them, and as Ted Walsh says "theyre powerful leppers"....................
