These are my stables, full of cobwebs, breeze block and flaky paint!
And the farmer was good enough to let me cut a hole inbetween the stables so they could see each other. I couldnt cut the pipe above his head as if i move i need to replace the wall and its structural but it doesnt cause any problems at all. Heres Ty looking into Inky's stable
This is there "home"for about 9 months of the year!

These are my stables. They are nearly a year old, 12x14ft Monarch. I love them!!!!!!!!!!!!! I havn't any pics of the insides, but you get the idea!

Thank you! That barn had been bricked up for fifteen years, we had to get into it and renovate it in four weeks as that was all the notice we had that the horses were arriving from Andalucia

And that doesn't show the fact that it sloped violently and one end of it was under about 5ft of wood and brush, used for the bread oven. We actually found a bullock cart in pieces (rotten unfortunately) buried under it all! We just emptied it and caved all the roof in (4 inch thick slates) to fill it up before the hardcore and concrete went down.

At out last yard, big barn with stables down either side, all the horses were well settled in here as they could see each and 'talk' over the dividing partions
And there was never any problems
This was the previous yard, didnt want to leave here but circumstances caused us to. Our stable was the corner one in the bottom covered bit
Doors look clean because they'd just been painted, you should have seen them before!

and shock horror, the corner is gates - one into field one onto rest of yard
And inside the stable:
as you can see, the poor pony was so traumatised by the grills between stables, the glass window and the cobwebs that he fainted...
This is the front of the stables around the corner:
Pony is 14.2 btw
This is a chicken coop type thing, fits horses up to 13.2.

Hehe! It is satisying to be anal about things in an odd way, I used to be when I just had one horse (still not THAT anal though!) Now I just can't be arsed quite honestly!!
I can't believe how flat and level the entire bed is!! I am particualrly impressed by the neatness of the bank going around the pillar...its just flawless darrllllllliiinnnnngggg!

It's chopped straw and I can't remember for the life of me what brand it is, it comes in a clear bale! Maybe Belvoir? Could be wrong though.

angel bones - its not often i get jelous, i think its highly unattractive trait. but omg i am so jelous of your barn&yard it has everything i want - think i even spy a washing machine too ! lucky you.
my lot moved in whilst only half finished. there clean, dry, warm and safe thats all that matters. will take some more pics on sunday and post. i found it really hard coming out of an indoor barn on a nice livery yard to my own field but it is worth it.
scratching our heads...
finished enough for horses to move in. got lots to finish off though.
shock horro at the build materials still left as you can see i nthe corner.
