Food Help/Recommendations

There is no with grain food with a decent meat content, I wish I would but top quality kibble with grain instead of peas or potato but you just can’t.
Would be delighted to be corrected.
I signed up to answer you here, because I've gone through a similar search this month and your post actually came up in the results! I've worked lurchers, terriers and bulls (and soon a Cocker) for years and walked the gamut over the last 30 years from 'cheapest crud' to fully raw to premium kibble and back again. My wife has a French Bulldog that gets digestive upset if it even looks at an ingredient its stomach doesn't like. Foods with legumes and sweet potato don't seem to agree with it, but with the modern trend for grain free, it's actually really hard to find a good old fashioned single protein plus rice/oats formula these days - especially with a high meat content. Here's a couple I found (depending on your definition of 'high meat'):

Scrumbles Adult and Senior chicken dry

Protein 34.0%, Fat 16.5%, Fibre 2.5%, Ash 6.5%, Calcium 1.30%, Phosphorus 1.00%, Omega3 1.00%, Omega6 4.70%.

Jollyes Lifestage Adult turkey and rice

Scrumbles would certainly qualify as high meat with 'safe' grains I think, though it's expensive (£86 for 12KG). Red Mills Leader (adult formula available also) has a decent amount of dehydrated chicken, which is an arguably better ingredient than 'meal' in a dog without allergy or sensitivity - though chicken is, of course, one of the biggest allergens for dogs as it's so ubiquitous. Jollyes is only £30/10KG (puppy) or £33/12KG (adult) and quite a good food overall, especially as one has to remember meal means a smaller on-label percentage but a higher overall as-fed percentage of meat. If you can afford it, Scrumbles seems to be the 'winner' in this category though. It also contains E. faecium, albeit at fairly low levels, which seems to really help the digestion and produce smaller, odour free stool. I hope this helps.
