For those not keen on Freezemarking

Just had an email from local Horsewatch to advise that men, believed to be travellers, had been seen EXAMINING the freeze mark on a miniature shetland to see if it was real or chalk.

apparently it was real and they left without the pony.

I have never heard of anyone 'Chalking' a Freeze mark on, surely it would need re-doing every day. Do people actually do that?

Not heard of freezemarks being chalked on. But know people who have used sheep spray stuff to mark their horses whilst waiting for FM to be done if there's been a spate of local thefts.
