I Pay £34 per week for stable and grazing with day turnout in winter and 24/7 between April and October. This also inlcudes an outdoor school (bit boggy but acceptable!) with showjumps. Fields are nice, always have grass and the herds are well managed. Lovely yard owner (BHS Instructor). Right by a country park so no busy road riding, only down the lane to the park which is quiet (but you have to pay £70 per yr to the park for the privelidge!) and right by the motorway so good for transport. But 'DIY' literally is rent only and morning feed chucked in. Anything else is extra (£2 to/ bi and £6 per day full livery). Its the most expensive DIY yard i've been at but definately the best :)

Are you at New Barn Farm by any chance *******??
Or Highbank?

Just by your description sounds familiar that's all.

I rent a 2 acre field which has a stable with rubber matting and a large field shelter next to stable. There is natural running water through the field so no lugging water about :) Land owner has horses which go in the next paddock occasionally, but I am left to my own devices. Landowner will help if I am away or ill.

I pay £100 a month for the field, stable and shelter and have two on there.

Thank you all for replying! Some of your yards sound as though they are to die for :D

You have all been brilliant, this has given me a clear indicator of what prices are reasonable and what aren't so much lol.

Just don't spread it around too much or your rent might just go up ! Thanks again for your help!!!!
