What a bizarre thing to happen, and what a shame
for those who are interested in Jordan Ross & daphi

To be honest I am very disappointed. I have started using this forum recently and hadn't seen any evidence of the bitchyness and bullying I have heard about.
Well I'm sorry but this is way out of order.
Talk about kicking someone when they are down.
Whether you like JR or not is not the point. Someone has lost their horse and I can only imagine how he feel. It certainly wont be made any better by some of the posts on here, who the hell would make up a story like that.
I just hope those of you who posted anything other than sympathy and hugs dont live to regret it if something happens to your precious pets.

I'm surprised you are baffled.
I would have thought that the several "if its true" comments could easily be interpreted as not particularly charitable. If my horse had died and the reaction of several people was to suggest that perhaps I was making it up, I'd find that pretty nasty.
I suspect this is what the poster was refering to. It certainly made me sad to read response like that. Personally I think that is one of the thoughts best kept to oneself.

I would have thought that the several "if its true" comments could easily be interpreted as not particularly charitable. If my horse had died and the reaction of several people was to suggest that perhaps I was making it up, I'd find that pretty nasty.

Actually I followed most of it. In particular I remember that he had to make a youtube video for anyone to believe he had a horse in the first place.
Like I said, it is my opinion that even if you *have* doubts, they really are best kept in your head than expressed on a public forum where the devastated owner in question could well get to hear them or see them.

No I didn't but I did see the posts on New Rider from the HHO members who joined especially to troll and insult him, so I would be inclined to say 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.
Either way whatever may have been said no one deserves anything other than sympathy when something like this happens.

I have never read anything where Jordan has lied.
As I remember it he had to make a video to prove he wasn't a troll.
He behaved badly, but not without provocation. Anyone who loses a horse deserves our sympathy. What does he have to do to convince some of you? Put his dead horse on Utube?

Yes, but thankfully he is spared the guilt of having made some tragic mistake or oversight which led to losing her, and knows she went quickly and without pain or distress.

I wonder how long it'll take for him to be banned from NR for the swearing that he is now writing? Sorry for the loss of his horse but to be honest, I have never believed anything he's said before. I also think he needs his mouth washed out with soap.

My 4yo dropped down dead in the field and the vet told me that the only way to prove anything was a PM as there could have been many, many reasons for his death - no thrashing, no visible trauma, nothing, but the vet was still adament that he could absolutely NOT tell me the cause of death, which is a very standard response.

I doubt the vet said it exactly like that. It sounds as though Jordan was rather hysterical when the vet came. He has probably told Jordans partner a probable cause of death.

For those who are newer on here, Jordan acted quite despicably towards some of our younger members (15-16 years old!) who were offering him good, friendly advice, and used some very bad language, which is why some people are wary of him.

I can understand why there's speculation as that crossed my mind almost straightaway. However I think he's genuine. Everyone knows horses take a lot of looking after and in all the vids he posted that looked like one well kept, relaxed horse. If she has died like that I thinik she's a lucky old girl to have landed up with him and passed away so peacefully.

It would seem that JR spends most of his time on YouTube, acting in much the same way that he did to incure his ban on here. He seems to be 'off his head' in most of his vids, and obviously is not well liked on YouTube. I think you will find that JR is a very accomplished troll.
