sevenoceans where do you get your Nature diet from?? If i order it direct in bulk i.e. 10 cases of 18 its 73p tub but PAH do its single packs for 69p. I just cant find where to get it cheaper in bulk
The retail price for Nature Diet adult is 69p, the puppy is 75p. (I own a pet shop).
We have a spaniel, probably about 17kg (will drop off in the shooting season) and lurcher about 20kg.
They get about 350g per day between them of Oscar Maize fish and potato. The 15kg bag costs £31.45 and should last about 42 days, so 75p per day to feed them both.
They don't cost anything to feed as we are feed merchants so i just take a bag when it's needed, normally it would cost £18.99 for a 15KG bag of our own brand wheat gluten free chicken & rice (made in the same factory as Burns and JW at half the price!) although it's due to go up £5 a bag due to the cost of rice. OH made the recipe so i know it's not full of junk and they look great on it.
1. $40 a month
2. Boston Terrier, 17lbs, five-years-old
3. Fresh cooked organic turkey, vegetables and vitamins, made by a local holistic pet store. Every three or four meals, I add a raw bone or raw venison patties.
The vast bulk of the diet costs me £3 a month to feed two very active Aussie Cattle Dogs approx weight 14-16kg aged 5 and 8.
I feed largely raw meaty bones largely lamb and chicken carcasses from the butcher who charges £1.50 per sack.
I will also feed the odd offal and muscle meat meals and a small amount of liquidised veg but no grains of any kind and I avoid dairy. Treats are Bob Martins beef jerky.
Have two whippets weighing at 25/26 lb
age 7 and 3
feed mainly raw and bones(are free) as the butchers around are really good..chickens wings just over a £1 a bag..neighbour gets me fresh rabbit at £1 per whole one...have about 4p/w plus get
keepers mix
and redmills at about £11 which lasts about 3mths depends on how much i use
