Forum Names - Two Questions

Tinypony here.
a010.gif

This is the name of my pony. She was tiny when I got her. She's not really so tiny now, she's a bit broad in the beam!

mine is just my name, but bizarrely also hints at a predisposition towards going hunting. :D

on the old forum i was jencash, as Cash was my maiden name, and a number of my friends still say they're off to the ATM to get some Jen.

Until I saw the PS I was wondering what kind of parents called their daughter Boxing Day ...

Its cos its only me ;)

lol at jesstickle!! I always thought you were called jess and had a pony/horse called tickle!

that's what i thought too lol, it depnds how oyu say it to yourself in your head. i would say it as i would a forename and surname. Different if you say it as one word.
There are a few good ones, i liked wimabumfit, I actually got that one quite quickly :D

I do pay attention ot the names on here. Especially when i am scanning the new posts to choose which ones to open. There are some posters that i won't even open the thread if they are the op. I also pay attention to the title of the thread. It really bugs me when I have opened one that says, 'really dreadful dilemma, what should i do!!!' and it is someone looking for help on whether to watch strictly or X factor!

My name is a bit obvious, I have a chestnut mare, but nobody knows which one of us is nutty. my festive one was just the best I could think of at the time.

Well bu**er me, for the first time in my life someone has got it right!! I usually get roweeeeeeeeeena which is welsh and spelt differently. Mine is made up but part of it comes from a cornish name...

no doubt if I asked my dh to say it he'd say r-WEN-na in that bizarrely Cornish way :)

hence why yr DH would've got it right!

PS, when i first saw 'DH's' i thought it was divorced half!!!:p

1. surprisingly, i'm not much like a nativepony either, so no i dont read "into" names

2. TFC had a deadline 3rd december, to change them, so you're a bit late

Get Well Soon

1) You SO ARE like a native pony (short, fat, hairy and with a wicked sense of humour/cheeky face :D )

2) TFC indeed had a deadline - which you grovelled up to and across... ;)

OP, may I have some of what you are on? I fear I could put any rubbish about my forum name and you'd believe it (if you could remember what I put!)

I have no idea how I came up with my username, but it has nothing to do with that nauseating song, rabbits called Hazel or Fiver or Total Eclipses of the Heart.

I think.

Hmmm. Sorry, but I actually do picture you as an Exmoor, like my Mum's old pony, Mustard: glossy, thick coat, street smart, good at your job on your own terms and could kick a fly's eye out if needs be.

Oh and trashes a post and rail before you can say "You little b88888888!"

:p

:D

I would never mock a donkey...my non-xmas name was based on the 2 colours of the coloured parts of my coloured..if you see what I mean :o

Rowenna, when I saw it, I actually initially assumed it was derived from Tolkien-elvish "roh-wen", meaning "horse-maiden"...I'm such a geek! :o

Mine's pretty uncomplicated: I have a particularly spooky pony. I suppose I could just has easily have gone for "sphericalpony" or "panicattackpony" instead...:D

Mine is usually apercrumbie, which is my username because that was my old pony's nickname and I have always used that username for most online stuff for years since then. Her show name was Apple Crumble so I shortened it to apercrumbie.....yes I know it's weird and slightly sad :p

I dont take a lot of notice either. None of us use our real names etc. Mine is my horse's show name. The Oryx 1. It means 'the goat', and yes he is one.

My username is courtesy of my darling mum who came over to visit me in Cyprus bringing with her some much needed horsey equipment; rugs, head collars, lead ropes, travel boots, numnah's all in the most amazing Burberry Check!

When I was moving yards I put on the Travel Sheet, Travel Boots, Headcollar and Leadrope on arrival at my new yard I got greeted with "******ing hell its Chavhorse"

It stuck!
