They look fine but I think they are cheaper because the lozenges are not angled Sprenger & NS have done extensive research into their designs and angled them accordingly.
The CS lozenges are actually at just the same angle as the NS verbindent and are also nice and shallow in shape which also helps reduce tongue pressure, but they do the mouthpiece with loads of different options on the cheeks, which NS doesn't. Can vouch for them being excellent quality, v good bits. Either way, it isn't the angle itself that is so important, more the fact that there are many lozenge bits with a range of different angles so you have a better chance of finding one that suits your horse.
